The Kumon Method that began from a father’s love for his child is now available in 47 countries and regions with 4.37 million subject enrolments (as of June 2012). The Kumon Method has remained consistent for over 50 years and has been accepted in many countries despite differences in lifestyle, educational system, and culture. It is our dream to contribute to world peace through education.
We have a dream: to contribute to world peace through education. We will head towards the realisation of that dream by fostering people through individualised education.
Half a century ago, the Kumon Method was born out of a father’s love for his son. The late Chairman Toru Kumon developed the prototype of the Kumon Method for his own son Takeshi in 1954 while he was a high school mathematics teacher.
The Kumon Method that began from a father’s love for his child is now available in a large number of countries and regions around the world. As of June 2012, there are 4.37 million subject enrolments in 47 countries and regions.
